Ethilon

Ethicon ETHILON is one of the most popular non-absorbable sutures. It has a monofilament structure for smooth passage through tissue while still providing strength and knot stability. It is a tissue friendly suture and is often used for skin suturing and is also available in very fine dimensions (11-0) making it also suitable for cosmetic surgery.

Indications
ETHILON (black and clear) sutures are intended for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, microsurgical and neurosurgical procedures. Blue ETHILON sutures are intended for use in skin closure.
