Iris

Acting as an extension of the thumb and opposing fingers, the claws on surgical forceps are specially designed to make a firm, yet gentle, grasp of the tissue. Iris forceps primary purpose is to grasp, retract or hold delicate tissues during suturing. Also used to tie sutures at the end of the procedure.  Available in many sizes and tips shapes and all manufactured from surgical stainless steel.
